Oregon/IGT links 11,500 VLTs

IGT is to provide the Oregon Lottery with its Intelligen video lottery account-based cashless solution.

The lottery will appear on more than 11,500 VLTs throughout the state and players will now be able to save large winnings to player accounts for redemption, removing the need for paper tickets that can be lost or stolen.

Oregon’s lottery has one of the most successful VLT programmes in North America and with IGT’s Intelligen solution a number of benefits for players will be introduced, while meeting the increasing demand for cashless technology.

IGT’s functionality integrates with the Intelligen central system that connects all VLTs in Oregon, so that the lottery can build a website where players can create accounts and speed the redemption process.
