Ontario bans bets on UFC events

Sports betting in Ontario, Canada, does not extend to the Ultimate Fighting Championships, the popular TV sport, because of fears for its integrity.

Those requirements cover odds manipulation, match-fixing and other sports betting integrity issues. It says that UFC does not prohibit insiders from betting on its events and that could include the coaches, managers, handlers, athletic trainers and medical professionals
