OKTO has achieved homologation of its cashless solution in Madrid, marking the first time that electronic payments have been approved for use directly in gaming machines.

OKTO’s cashless solution will be available through the partnership with Jackpot Systems, a fast-growing technology provider.

The development and cooperation open the door for digital payments to be used for gaming machines, providing a more seamless, secure and convenient way for users to pay and play.

“We are pleased to bring our cashless payment solution to the gaming industry in Madrid,” said Nacho Frade, commercial director and country manager Spain at OKTO.

“This is a significant milestone for us and we believe it is a clear indication that electronic payments in the retail gaming industry are here to stay.

“We look forward to working with our operator partners to provide them with the tools they need to offer a digital-savvy, safe and frictionless payment experience for their customers.”
