July revenues in casinos and racinos in the US state of Ohio fell just short of a record, at $206.7m.
The 11 venues just failed to match the 2021 figure of $211.2m, reports Cleveland.com and forwarded by CDC Gaming Reports.
However, the revenue figures were 27 per cent up on the pre-pandemic July of 2019 when it was $162.2m. Once out of the pandemic, the casinos and racinos in the state progressively charted record profit figures.
In 2022 the four casinos and seven racinos have grossed $1.38bn in revenue compared with $1.36bn at this time last year.
