Despite the necessity for all attendees to wear masks and an understandable degree of wariness among the exhibitors and visitors to get up close, the G2E trade show in Las Vegas ticked a great many boxes.

The Global Gaming Expo, held at the Venetian Convention and Exhibition Center in Las Vegas from Monday to Thursday last week, was visited by 13,000 gaming professionals from around the world. The figures include the exhibitors and their staff representing 233 companies.

It was the largest face-to-face international gaming event to be held in over 18 months.

American Gaming Association president Trevor Croker said: “After the most difficult year in our history, G2E provided a solid show to drive the recovery of the global gaming industry. Nothing beats a face-to-face show and we are delighted with the audience and the excitement surrounding G2E 2021.”
