NRM, the UK-based gaming equipment developer, has acquired games studio Probability Jones and secured an equity partner in the holding company of Helsinki’s Air Dice.

Under the deal, agreed with Air Dice CEO Sami Makinan, NRM managing director Andrew Ludlow remains a significant shareholder and managing director of NRM and associated businesses.

Ludlow (pictured) confirmed yesterday that the Air Dice deal will “create additional firepower” to fully develop the NRM innovation expansion.

“We have a wonderful customer portfolio and a range of industry leading products across multiple sectors. Identifying a partner with whom we have both shared ambitions and a shared philosophy has not been easy, but the fit with Air Dice is close to perfect.

“Air Dice has been an important supply partner for us in the UK bingo sector for many years and has development studios across Europe. It will be able to provide us with additional support across the key strategic areas of resource, technology and distribution.”
