The WSOP Online has been going on for quite some time this month, providing players in New Jersey and Nevada a way to earn a coveted gold bracelet via the internet. The traditional WSOP was postponed due to the coronavirus outbreak, so players have been traveling to the two states over the past few weeks to take part. Poker player Nick Binger just earned his second career WSOP gold bracelet after finishing first during Event #24. Binger was able to outlast a huge field to earn the big win!

Details of the Event:

Event #24 was a No Limit Hold’em 8-Handed affair with 1,590 players with 818 re-buys. The online poker event had a $400 buy-in and created a prize pool of $866,770. It would take 12 hours for the event to play down to the winner, with Nick Binger earning $133,412.83 for his efforts, plus his second WSOP gold bracelet.

The win was a big one for Binger, a player who earned his last WSOP bracelet back in 2011. In this event, Binger would have to take on Ryan “Adopt_aDogg0” Leng in heads-up to claim the win.

Leng was actually the chip leader when the one on one matchup began, with a four to one lead. However, Binger was not going down without a fight and he managed to claim the win and move forward to eventually win the event.

On the final hand, Binger would hold K-8 against Leng’s pocket nine’s pre-flop. The two were all-in and a king on the flop helped secure the hand for Binger and the event win.

Final Payouts:

Place Player Prize
First Nick Binger $133,413
