Despite the lockdown, Las Vegas will get an all-new casino ahead of schedule in its Downtown area. The Circa Resort and Casino will open on October 28, it has been announced, two months ahead of schedule.
The venue has been developed by Derek Stevens and is in the historic Fremont Street and covers 1.25 million sq.ft. over five floors of gaming and amenities and will employ 1,000 people.
To achieve the speedy opening, Stevens reallocated construction resources from Circa’s hotel tower to the first five floors. The 777 rooms in the tower begin on the eighth floor.
Stevens already owns the D Las Vegas and Golden Gate Hotel and Casino and his latest offering will have the world’s largest sportsbook over three stories in stadium-style and will be dominated by a 78 million pixel screen to a maximum 1,000 players. There will also be a pool amphitheatre for outdoor entertainment and four restaurants.
The gaming floors cover two stories and will house 1,350 slots and 49 tables.
