New Jersey posted US$454.8m in total gaming revenue for December, a 12.5 per cent increase year-on-year.


Sports betting gross revenue showed the biggest increase, jumping to $88.7m up from $59m in December 2021 – an increase of 48.5 per cent.

The US state’s Division of Gaming Enforcement also revealed casino win for the Garden State’s nine casino hotel properties was $215.6m, up by 1.8 per cent on December 2021’s figure of $211.8m.

Meanwhile, internet gaming win in December grew by 13.7 per cent to $151.5m from $133.2m last December.

Overall revenue for New Jersey for the year to date was $5.21bn, reflecting a 10 per cent increase on the $4.74bn reported in the prior period.
