The new Golden Palace Casino at Boulogne-sur-Mer, France, just south of Calais, now has a majority of its slots with the Novomatic branding.

The location, reopened only in July, is the first live casino owned by the Golden Palace Group, a Belgian operator with 45 gaming halls, four sports betting shops – all in Belgium – and an online casino and sports betting offer.

The venue has 100 slots and roulette terminals, plus live table games. Sixty per cent of the slots are Novomatic, including five Ainsworth machines. They include the VIP style models and the Panthera range with Cash Connection link and Gaminator with the Thunder Cash link. There is also a Lotus Roulette electronic table game and a Novo Line Unity II electronic roulette with 14 connected terminals.

Golden Palace president Massimo Menegalli said: “We work with Novomatic for its quality products and because we have partnered with the company as a distributor and operator in Belgium for many years. We believe that our French customers will like the Novomatic products. We are also pleased with the level of speed and willingness to help exhibited by Novomatic during our work at Boulogne-sur-Mer.”
