The new director of the Merkur Spielbanken in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany, is Olcay Kacak.
The Gauselmann-owned casino group has three locations in the state, in Leuna-Günthersdorf, Magdeburg and Halle.
He follows Knuth Achilles, who takes over project management for the new casino location in North Rhine-Westphalia. The group has two new casino locations planned for the state, the first of which is at Monheim am Rhein, opening later this year.
Olcay Kacak (pictured) has 20 years’ experience in German casinos, working at first in gaming technology, then rising to manage the Spielbank Berlin, moving to Merkur Spielbanken NRW as gaming manager.
