Sokratis Kokkalis has stepped down as CEO of Intralot, the gaming solutions supplier, but remains as chairman, it has been announced by the Greek company.
He is replaced as CEO by Christos Dimitriadis (pictured), who joins the board in place of Dimitrios Klonis. In a statement, the company said: “Following a transition period of reorganisation during the last year, the company will evolve with emphasis on digital technology, with Mr Dimitriadis as its new group CEO.
“Mr Dimitriadis has a long experience with our company for the past 12 years and possesses in-depth knowledge of the technologies in our industry.”
Dimitriadis joined Intralot in 2007, initially leading the group strategy in technology, delivering solutions and services to 47 jurisdictions worldwide. He has had two terms as chair of the board of Isaca, a not-for-profit association serving professionals around the world, and has been in the technology sector for nearly 20 years.
