The Las Vegas Strip iconic casino, Mirage, should be in the ownership of Hard Rock by the end of the year, reports the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

The sale of the property by MGM Resorts International for $1.08bn last year should be completed next month, but no immediate changes are planned for the property’s famous volcano display.

While Hard Rock International has said previously that it would demolish the hotel-casino, the volcano show would remain for the moment.
