Microgaming Updates Popular Immortal Romance Slot

Legendary online gambling provider Microgaming has unveiled the latest update to its cult-classic Immortal Romance slot machine. Released on December 5, 2011, at the very peak of the Twilight craze, Immortal Romance is a classic vampire-themed slot that definitely stood the test of time. As of right now, the game is available at over 200 online casinos and continues to be played by millions of players every single month. 

So why fix what’s not broken? Microgaming COO Andrew Clucas explains the company’s decision the following way:

The most obvious upgrade to Immortal Romance is the porting of the game from Adobe Flash to the much more modern and secure HTML5 format. Not only will players be no longer prompted to enable Flash Player every time they want to launch Immortal Romance, but the game will also run better, have improved animations, and support higher fidelity sound. 

As far as gameplay features go, we’re pleased to say that nothing appears to have been omitted. The game still has its iconic quick spin, autoplay, and free spin features. The latter still starts in the Chamber of Spins. Upon entry into the chamber, you have to choose between four types of free spins, each of which corresponds to an Immortal Romance protagonist.
