Microgaming Announces the Release of deadmau5 Branded Slot Game

During the annual ICE London event, a known software provider Microgaming just announced the release of a new slot game called deadmau5. It will be a theme-based slot based on a famous Canadian DJ’s (real name Joel Thomas Zimmerman) newest tour called cube v3. His tour features groundbreaking visual effects that the DJ has developed on his own and which will be partially featured in the slot game.

The release of the new game is expected in the following months. It is envisioned to feature the DJ’s music as well as effects that would allow players to emerge into a synergy of entertainment containing both popular electronic music and the familiar gaming experience. The game developers, Microgaming, hope to get the attention of electronic music lovers and entice them to enjoy gaming.

The Music

Joel Thomas Zimmerman is 39-years-old and one of the most known and popular electronic dance music creators worldwide. He is nominated for a Grammy and has several successful albums so far.

Jean-Luc Ferrier, the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of Microgaming said: “The addition of deadmau5 to our sizeable branded content offering, which already includes some of the biggest names in entertainment, highlights our commitment to diversifying and innovating across our range. We look forward to launching this unique online slot to operators later this year.”

At the ICE London 2020, Microgaming also announced releasing a second slot game based on Game of Thrones, a popular HBO series and one of the most known brands in the world. This is the second game related to the GoT and a continuation of a six years long cooperation with the creators of the series.
