Merkur Casinos last night (May 28) reopened its three casinos in the German state of Saxony-Anhalt, following a 10-week shutdown caused by the pandemic.

The locations at Leuna Güntheresdorf, Magdeburg and Halle (Saale) all have new health and safety protocols developed in close consultation with medical experts.

The number of machines on offer is limited, safe-distancing is being enforced and deep cleaning programmes introduced. Disinfectant stations are in place and all guests and staff are encouraged to wear masks.
