Merkur Casino rated ‘top employer’

Merkur Casino, the Gauselmann Group subsidiary in Germany with over 400 arcades across the country, has again been named among the top national employers.

It is one of the most popular 1,000 employers in 40 different industries, the seventh year in succession it has made the short list run by industry magazine FOCUS-Business.

Board member Dieter Kuhlmann, who runs the arcades division for the group, said that the company had been listed in the Art, Culture and Entertainment section of the survey and it had been rated first.

The survey had taken into account 950,000 company profiles and over four million employee reviews to come to its conclusion.

Said Kuhlmann: “At our group the focus is traditionally on the employees. We place great importance to good co-operation with our staff and we take up extensive training and further education opportunities.”
