Sports betting goes live in the US state of Massachusetts from January 31 says the state’s gaming commission.

The commission has also licensed six more operators to take part in the new market. Companies connected to BallyBet, FanDuel, Betr, DraftKings, Betway and PointsBet are now joining five others already licensed.

The commission will at an early stage tour the three venues that will hold in-person betting, the Encore Boston Harbor (pictured), MGM Springfield and Plainridge Park Casino.
