In March, the MARE BALTICUM Gaming Summit announced it was going online due to the coronavirus outbreak. The pandemic has swept across the globe, halting travel which put a stop to certain events, including the gaming conference. This week, an announcement was made revealing that MARE BALTICUM will be hosting a live edition in August. As restrictions are lifted, people will be able to enter the country without the need to be quarantined for a 14-day time frame.

Details of the Upcoming Gaming Summit:

The Gaming Summit will take place on August 6that the Radisson Blu Hotel Olümpia Tallinn. Officials sources say that from June 1st, Estonia will allow people from the EU and EEA countries to enter. Attendees will be able to visit Tallinn to take part in the conference, entering the country due to the slow spread of the virus.

In the past, anyone entering the country, as in other countries, had to undergo a self-isolation period of 14 days. As the rate of infection changes in other countries, those who have no quarantine requirement will be added or removed from the list. Visitors from such countries as Austria, Denmark, France, Greece, Italy, the Netherlands, and several others are free to enter Estonia and can attend the conference.

Tűndik said that MARE BALTICUM is happy to announce that the live conference can be attended by anyone interested in safe networking and learning possibilities. The organizer has spoken with the Estonia Health Ministry as well as the Radisson Blu team and ensure that everyone is safe to attend the conference.

Limited Attendance:

Starting on July 1st, indoor events of up to 500 people are allowed in the region, if the facilities used are at 50% or less their capacity. The team of the conference has decided to limit the delegates to only 80 to create a comfortable environment for those attending.

Anyone interested in attending is encouraged to book in advance and choose a package, either the delegate pass or a delegate pass with an accommodation combo.
