Malta is not just one of the world’s leading domiciles for international online gaming companies – it has an indigenous, but limited, gaming industry of its own.



This week the Maltese Gaming Authority fell into line with most other European countries with restrictions on land-based gaming venues, closing them for the duration of the coronavirus epidemic.

The order applies to bingo halls, casinos, gaming parlours and lotto booths.
