The company operates 44 gaming and racing venues, plus over 50,000 slots and other gambling devices across the US.

It will now be named Penn Entertainment, says CDC Gaming Reports. It quotes Jay Snowden, CEO: “Our new name maintains ties to our legacy while better reflecting our evolution into North America’s leading provider of integrated entertainment, sports content and casino gaming experiences.”

Net income in the quarter fell from $198.7m in 2021 to $26m, a drop of 86.7 per cent. However, net revenue was up 5.2 per cent from $1.5bn to $1.6bn.
