Madrid is planning to establish restrictions on where arcades, betting shops and casinos may be opened in the city.

The Spanish capital has released information of a proposal to demand a minimum of 500m between gambling locations and between venues and schools.

The city recently temporarily suspended the granting of new licences for gaming outlets, which will be in force until a new set of regulations is introduced.
