In Macau and a considerable increase in the number of same-day visitations reportedly helped to push overall October tourist numbers up by some 1.8% year-on-year to almost 3.21 million.

According to a report from Inside Asian Gaming citing official information from the enclave’s Statistics and Census Service (DSEC), this comparable escalation was assisted by a swell of 8.1% year-on-year in same-day visitors to approximately 1.73 million although the figure for those staying overnight dropped by about 4.8% to just over 1.47 million.
