Despite China gradually emerging from the coronavirus pandemic, passenger traffic into Macau remains down, although there are signs of improvement.



The subway has reported footfall up by 15 per cent for the last week in March but overall travel is still 80 per cent lower than the same period of last year.

Gambling revenues also show little sign of real recovery and it is widely expected that they should be around 80 per cent lower in March than the same month of last year.
