The fresh outbreak of Covid in Macau has closed the Grand Lisboa hotel casino, as 13 members of staff have tested positive.

The venue closed last night following the discovery of the infection, reports Inside Asia Gaming. It is the 18th Covid “cluster” reported in the Chinese territory since the fresh outbreak started.

The sudden closure, reinforced by police and health bureau staff blocking all the entrances, left many employees and customers trapped inside.
