Overview

Lucky Joker 100 is identical to its immediate predecessor, aesthetics-wise. There’s the same 5X4 grid layout, with the only difference being the number of utilized pay ways across the playing area. Alter your bet preferences first, where the options range from fifty to five hundred coins, then commence playing with the available options.

Winning combinations in Lucky Joker 100 form when at least three identical symbols match, counting from the left-most reel. As in the rest of the games, expect wins to come in quite often here courtesy of a decent hit rate. The developer doesn’t reveal the exact figure, but that’s something we are used to when unboxing Amatic products. RTP percentage figures are revealed, though, with the best-case scenario being a so-so 95%. The only other important stat is a medium-high volatility setting, which partly explains the leniency and reason why most fell in love with the Amatic’s joker series in the first place.

Prising the outer shell open to reveal the paytable, you come across a collection of clichéd icons from the series and the old-school slots genre as a whole. You can see fruits, a horseshoe magnet, and a lucky seven, all of which pay 40X at best. That means that the best this slot can do on a single spin is 4000X (40X on 100 paylines), with a full grid of premier symbols (lucky sevens). Judging by the potential size, Lucky Joker 100 is the best slot in the series as all the others had a uniform potential of 3000X. 

Stacked Joker Wilds

The female joker popularized by the series still makes an appearance here. A carryover, but very useful in completing wins when it expands to occupy the entire reel.

Scatters

Star & bell scatter symbols also make a return to dish out payouts without following the left-right orientation rule. It’s highly impossible to land a full grid of these, but you won’t hear anyone make a fuss about the payouts that go up to 20X and 100X, respectively. It would have been nice to see these trigger a bonus round, but maybe we will see that in the next joker installment (if there is one).

Lucky Joker — Our Verdict

Same with all the other slots in the series, diehard fans of Amatic’s Joker Series will welcome Lucky Joker 100 with open arms. They will relish in the leniency & generosity the series is known for as well as the added bet ways that make it easier to land wins on each spin while making bigger wins possible. Non-fans, on the other hand, will question whether one more of these was necessary.
