Light & Wonder Partners with Grand Casino Luzern for Swiss Online Market Entry

Light & Wonder, the global leader in cross-platform games and entertainment, has signed a deal with the top-tier Swiss operator Grand Casino Luzern for a launch of the aggregator’s OpenGaming platform on the operator’s market-leading mycasino online gaming facility operated since 2019.

 Online Market Entry:

The deal will enable online players in Switzerland to avail of the Light & Wonder’s offerings for the first time. It will also mark the aggregator’s entry in the Swiss iGaming market which generated $250 million in gross revenues in 2022, according to the Swiss Federal Gaming Board (SFGB).

mycasino, as an online arm of Grand Casino Luzern, offers the largest and most innovative game selection in Switzerland. Each game is certified according to strict standards and approved by the SFGB. The operator will take advantage of the agreement to access to a wide array of entertaining gaming  content from Light & Wonder’s in-house offerings.

Premium Content Available:

Under the agreement, the operator will also be able to exclusively use the content available through Light & Wonder partner program OpenGaming. The library of titles available through partnership with other studios includes 88 FORTUNES™, RAGING RHINO™ and SPARTACUS™ with other blockbusters to follow soon.

The first Swiss online deal will also represent the Light & Wonder’s further expansion across the regulated European markets featured by partnership with a wide range of leading operators. The online entry follows the already established land-based casino operation of Light & Wonder’s casino games and their performance seems to be the reason for the further expansion in the Swiss online market.

Key Strategic Expansion:

The latest strategic expansion in Switzerland follows the company’s recent coverage of multiple markets across North America and Latin America. Light & Wonder boasts that its proven iGaming content capabilities are in line with its ambitions to provide an entertaining and responsible online casino games experience.
