It was a booming April for the Las Vegas Strip casinos, according to revenue reports from the news media Fantini’s Gaming Report.
Gaming revenue reached $593.4m, an April record and up 22.7 per cent on last year’s figures.
The Strip posted the strongest growth of all markets in Nevada, helping the state grow 8.57 per cent to $1.1bn, the 14th month in succession that post-$1bn revenue has been reported.
Visitors to Las Vegas grew 31.4 per cent, which helped the Strip revenues. The number of tourists reached 3.3 million in the month, only a tiny fraction below pre-Covid levels.
