Swedish casino games developer LL Lucky Games (Lady Luck Games) has revealed that it has inked a “landmark licensing agreement” with Australian entertainment company Big Time Gaming (BTG) that will allow it to develop and release its very first Megaways slot, SpinJoy Megaways.
The collaboration is to see the Stockholm-headquartered slots developer add the highly popular Megaways mechanic to its first online slot, SpinJoy Society. Part of its Premium Slot Games collection, the brightly-colored, fruit-themed slot was released on November 21, 2019, the same year Lady Luck Games was founded, and features wilds, scatters, free spins, a bonus pick game, and a whopping 17,649 ways to win.
As for the soon-to-be-released revamped version, in addition to the powerful game engine, SpinJoy Megaways also includes a win multiplier that gets a 1x boost for each back-to-back win and a potentially lucrative Coin Collector feature.
“Being able to develop and release our first-ever Megaways title is a huge milestone for Lady Luck Games and it’s a real testament to all the hard work that everyone has put in behind the scenes. We’re all extremely excited for the additional exposure our games are about to receive thanks to the mechanic,” read a statement from Mads Jørgensen, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer for LL Lucky Games AB.
A Real Coup:
The CEO expounded on the importance of the licensing agreement…
“Megaways is known worldwide for its excitement, unpredictability, and thrilling gameplay. To be able to add SpinJoy Megaways and future Megaways titles to our ever-growing portfolio of slots is a real coup for Lady Luck Games and we can’t wait to get the ball rolling with Big Time Gaming.”
According to the press release, the coming slot is just “one in a number ” of Megaways-powered titles from Lady Luck Games that will be developed and released “in the coming months.”
For its part, Big Time Gaming Chief Executive Officer Nik Robinson said they “love seeing all the different ways the Megaways mechanic is applied to new games and Spinjoy Megaways is no exception.”
Robinson added that they are “really excited” to see the launch of this latest game from Lady Luck Games and they “wish the team all the very best as they embark on their Megaways journey.”
Established in 2011, BTG has licensed its wildly successful game engine to a large number of their competitors, having gained a robust following and enjoying a unique status in the industry.
