Revenue in Konami Holdings’ gaming division saw a 39.5 per cent rise in the half-year to end September.


Revenue from the sector was $116.1m, up 40 per cent in the half-year compared with the equivalent period of 2021. The gaming division saw a rise of 9.5 per cent offering a net profit of $13.5m.

The supply of slots and management systems for casinos make up the bulk of the division’s business. This sector, through its subsidiaries in the US and Australia, were back to pre-pandemic levels, said the company. In its reports the Japanese-based company said that while operations globally were recovering well from the pandemic, there remained other issues, notably the supply chain.
