The World Series of Poker Circuit is underway online at GGPoker, with players from around the world competing in major events. On January 16, the WSOP Winter Online Circuit Series Main Event finished up with a huge field of 14,235 players posting the $525 buy-in to compete. Massive Online Event

It appears as though the poker community was ready to play once the starting flights began for this event. The $535 buy-in is relatively high for many players but it did not stop the event from drawing a huge playing field. With so many players competing, the guaranteed $5 million in prize money was boosted to over $7.1 million!

Seven of the nine players competing in the final table were able to earn a six-figure payday. It was Nikita Kupchin that was eliminated first, with Vu Tai not far behind in 8th. After the first two players were removed, it left everyone remaining with a payout of $118,000 or higher depending on the finish.

In the end, it would be Huang and Miscikowski remaining at the felt, with both hoping to earn the first-place finish and the coveted gold ring. Neither player was ready to give up positioning, but eventually, Huang would take the lead and the final hand would go down, giving him the title win, prize money, plus the ring.

Successful Online Poker Circuit

The WSOP Winter Circuit kicked off on December 12 and featured a total of $100,000,000 in guaranteed prize money. Players had an almost month-long schedule of events including Big 50 MILLION$, Big 500, Deepstacks, Super Six Bounty’s, Omaha events, Lucky Sevens, Monster Stacks, and so much more.

GGPoker offered affordable buy-ins as well as options to win seats via qualifiers. The series was a great success as players logged in day after day to compete in the various events. The Main Event was the last tournament on the schedule, so the Winter Circuit has now finished up.

While players wait for the next big online series, GGPoker is offering its GGMasters along with a ton of additional options including the January giveaways with $10 million up for grabs! Check out all that the online poker room has to offer by visiting the site.
