Japan taking proposals in 2021

Japan’s Tourism Agency will begin accepting casino resort proposals in January 2021, running through to July 30 of that year, Kyodo News has reported.

The agency will also consider locations for a casino after conducting consultations with local governments interested in hosting one.

The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism will unveil additional information about casino policies in January.
