SBC Digital Italia, an online event, will provide a detailed update on the state of the Italian gaming market, including casinos, igaming and sports betting.
Set for July 28-29, the event will be a partnership between SBC, an events company, and Italy’s specialist gaming information feed GiocoNews.
Said SBC in a news release this week: “Italy is home to many of the industry’s strongest and most innovative companies and the Italian market has often developed new approaches to adapt to a changing regulatory landscape, most recently with the introduction of the strict limitations place on advertisement and promotion of betting and gaming operators.
“The event will bring together the most knowledgeable decision makers and experts on the Italian market who will share their insights on the developing challenges in the changing regulatory framework, the key factors for success in Italy, innovations in game/slots development, the new era of gaming retail in Italy post-Covid and updated legislation.”
The proposal this year is to primarily feature conference sessions, workshops and roundtables, one-on-one networking and product showcases in Italian, with all sessions being available with live translations into English for the international audience.
In future years, however, the intention is to make the event a face-to-face annual occasion, taking the format of a trade show.
