The inquiry into Star Entertainment Group’s operations at its Brisbane and Gold Coast casinos in Australia will begin today, reports Inside Asian Gaming.
The proceedings today will see former judge Robert Gotterson leading the inquiry.
According to the Brisbane Times, the inquiry into the casinos’ working practices will call witnesses to investigate concerns about the management of banned gamblers and whether other issues had “drifted across the border from New South Wales.”
The company is being investigated at the same time about its activities at its Sydney, NSW, casino.
