A crackdown on illegal gambling by the Cambodian authorities has seen over 150 foreigners arrested in various parts of the country, reports Inside Asian Gaming.

The raids took place last week, ordered by the country’s prime minister, Hun Sen, after a growing number of reports of human trafficking and kidnappings were linked to the casino industry.

The arrested foreigners include 72 Chinese nationals, while most of the remainder were Indonesians.
