IGT contract with Swedish lottery provider

Swedish lottery operator Svenska Spel Sport & Casino has contracted to take IGT PlayDigital’s PlayRGS solution and PlayCasino content.

Jonas Reuter, regional vice-president Northern Europe for IGT, said that the company’s extensive experience at working within government-regulated digital gaming markets would help Svenska Spel’s digital programme.

“As part of our commitment to promoting responsible gaming and sustainably growing our customers’ business, IGT was among the first supporting members to join the Swedish Gambling Association, SPER. We will continue to work with SPER and its founding member, Svenska Spel to bring sustaining gaming to Sweden.”

The agreement is for a minimum of three years. PlayRGS provides game content and plugs into an existing back office.
