GVC Foundation’s tennis spectacular under way

The major sports betting and gaming group, GVC, is this week running the Eastern European Tennis Championships in Belgrade, raising funds for Covid-19 relief.

The tournament features some big names from the tennis world’s top 20 players in both the men’s and women’s games, in a six-week competition culminating on July 23. The tournament was the brainchild of former world No. 8 Janko Tipsarevic as a way of providing competitive matches for domestic players following the suspension of the ATP and WTA tours.

The event is receiving major TV coverage in Eastern Europe.
