Grosvenor Casino Blackpool in the UK seaside resort has celebrated a £1m refurbishment, which has transformed the venue into a modern dining, entertainment and gaming destination.
A night of entertainment, sports viewing, food and drink and live gaming was enjoyed by the Blackpool residents in attendance after a challenging two years for the town.
Kicking off the night in style, crowds gathered in the match-winning sports lounge that has been created to allow sports fans the chance to watch, bet and play under one roof. Guests enjoyed one of the best sports viewing experiences in the town as Real Madrid beat Liverpool in a nail-biting Champions League final.
Singer and entertainer Shane Nolan then stepped onto the stage in the vibrant entertainment area to get the party feeling going for guests. Throughout the night, The Upper Deck, a new bar and grill and a key part of the refurbishment, was cooking up a storm with varied food and drink.
Speaking about the refurbishment and relaunch night, general manager Nik McFadden said: “With our refurbishment, we wanted to create an all-round modern experience that would encourage local people to enjoy great nights out again.
“We have responded to the changing behaviours and expectations of what our guests want when they visit a casino, which is just as much about enjoying great dining and entertainment as it is playing a hand of blackjack or placing a bet the roulette.
“I can speak for the whole team here when I say it was incredible to see our guests both old and new come to our relaunch night and really enjoy themselves.”
