NOVOMATIC Interactive division Greentube has announced they are now part of an awareness initiative created by the World Health Organization (WHO). The stay at home program known as #PlayApartTogether will see the developer provide a care package of game rewards to players via their social casino brands.

New Campaign:

With #PlayApartTogether, Greentube will provide a care package to players that include giveaways. Players can earn extra bonus rewards, special events, or extra coins to help encourage everyone to stay home and fight the spread of the coronavirus.

Mechanics will show up in the app and Greentube will promote the option via social media and newsletters. In the promotional materials, links to communication portals of WHO will be provided pointing players in the direction of guidelines and updates regarding the pandemic situation.

The special initiative was organized by the gaming industry for WHO and has gained tremendous support from close to 60 companies around the world.

Director Social Casino Brands, Jose Jami Ocampo, commented on the effort by stating: “In these difficult times, it is important for all of us to rally behind efforts to slow the spread of COVID-19. Gaming companies like Greentube have a wide-reaching, global social platform through which we can communicate critical messages of safe physical distancing whilst encouraging responsible engagement with our content.”

Ocampo stated further that the developer is proud to be included on the list of gaming companies that are showing solidarity in the fight against the coronavirus.

Continued Growth:

At the same time as the company announces its participation in the campaign, it has also signed a new partnership deal. In late April, the developer signed a new deal with SKS365 Group sports betting and gaming brand Planetwin365. The partnership helps the brand to distribute games in Italy, enhancing its presence within the Italian iGaming market.
