The foreign tourist-only casinos in South Korea operated by Paradise saw revenue of US$37.3m in August, an 89.3 per cent increase on July, reports Inside Asian Gaming.

Although it was 15 per cent lower than August of last year, that was on reduced win rate with table drop representing an 80.5 per cent year-on-year rise.

It was the second straight month of improvements for Paradise after two years of interruption from the pandemic. It was also helped by South Korea removing its forced hotel quarantine requirement for unvaccinated foreign visitors from early June.

The company operates the Paradise Walkerhill in Seoul, Jeju Grand, Busan Casino Paradise and Paradise City in Incheon.
