Nevada casino operator Golden Entertainment has completed a record financial year, as it successfully navigated the Covid challenges.
The Las Vegas-based company said that its fourth quarter to the end of 2021 had completed a year in which its revenue totalled $1bn for the first time and EBITDA grew to $292m, almost 60 per cent up on 2019.
The quarter saw revenues of $282m, up 37 per cent on 2020 with net income of $19.1m compared with a net loss of $18.5m.
Golden Entertainment’s portfolio includes the STRAT Hotel, Casino and SkyPod (pictured), Aquarius Casino Resort and Edgewater Hotel and Casino Resort, plus the Colorado Belle Hotel and Casino Resort, the operations of which remain closed.
The company has local casinos in Nevada, including Arizona Charlie’s Boulder, Arizona Charlie’s Decatur, Gold Town Casino, Lakeside Casino and Pahrump Nugget. It has the Rocky Gap Casino in Maryland as well.
