GGMasters Overlay Edition set for this weekend

On March 21, GGPoker will host Day 2 of the $5 million GGMaster Overlay Edition. This event has been on the minds of many poker players as it offers a huge value with such a low $150 buy-in. usually, the event only offers $500,000 in guaranteed prize money but GGPoker is upping the ante this go-round. It will be interesting to see if the massive prize pool will be hit or if the online poker room will have to come up with the cash.

Details of the Overlay Edition Tournament

Players have three Day 1s to compete in before the late registration ends, and for the full prize guarantee to be reached, a total of 36,231 players must buy in. so far, the total is under 8,000 players. On March 20, the three Day 1s will begin, so we shall see how many players log in on that day to take part.

Day 1s will take place in Asia, Europe, and the Americas, with no re-entries. Players need to make sure their one shot counts and try to stay in it to reach Day 2. Players are given 10,000 in chips which equals 200 big blinds. The blinds increase every 15 minutes and antes will begin at 15/50/6a.

The Day 1 action will come to an end at the 20^th level and anyone with chips remaining will move on to Day 2. The action kicks off that day at 5:00 pm GMT. Will the event pull in enough players to meet the huge guaranteed prize pool or just how much will the total be lacking? We will find out in just a few days!
