UK player protection charity GambleAware has released its half-year list of donations and pledges from the industry.
From April to September of this year, the charity received a total of £10.6m in voluntary donations, as suggested by the Gambling Commission. It is recommended that those who benefit from gambling in the UK donate 0.1 per cent of GGY.
The money is used to help problem gamblers. The organisation funds a number of initiatives, including the National Gambling Treatment Service.
The biggest donation in the half-year came from Bet365 with £4.214m, followed by Entain with £2m and William Hill with £1m.
