The first of the successful Macau casino concession holder to talk specifically about it they would undertake its new non-gambling development obligations is Galaxy Entertainment.
The company announced this week that 97 per cent of the $3.5bn it has agreed to spend will include a “high technology amusement park.”
Galaxy’s managing director, Francis Lui Yiu Tung, said that other work would include the third phase of its Galaxy Macau resort in Cotai, once market conditions improved.
Galaxy was one of six bidders for licences to operate in Macau for another 10 years.
