G2E Asia, which was due to be held at the Venetian in Macau from May 19-21, has been posponed due to the coronavirus outbreak.

Organiser Reed Exhibitions, which runs the show in conjunction with the American Gaming Association, made this statement today: “We have carefully monitored the global health crisis related to the conronavirus disease.

“Our top priority is ensuring a safe environment for employees, visitors, partners and exhibitors at G2E Asia. In consultation with our exhibitors and the Macau government – and out of an abundance of caution, we are postponing the event.

“We apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause. We will continue to monitor the situation and remain in close contact with all stakeholders in the coming weeks.” The expo is now scheduled for July 28-30 at the same venue.
