The sale of a well-established Florida casino to an Indian tribe has been put on hold by the state’s gambling regulators.

The Magic City Casino was to be sold to the Poarch Band of Creek Indians, but the deal has been postponed by the Florida Gaming Control Commission on the grounds that the public needed to know more about the transaction, says the South Florida Sun Sentinel.

The casino is owned by the Havenick Family and it has been in place in Miami since 1931. The Poarch Indians is a tribe based in Alabama.
