Chicago has received five development proposals for its first integrated casino resort.
The city is to grant one licence in a monopoly that will begin with a temporary casino for two years while the project is being built.
The five contestants are Bally’s Corporation with two proposals for two different sites; HR Chicago for one site operated by affiliate Hard Rock; Rivers Chicago at McCormick to be operated by Rush Street Gaming; and Rivers 78 Gaming, also to be operated by Rush Street Gaming.
