Recruitment has started ready for the first Las Vegas casino resort owned by a native American tribe.

Spring 2022 will see the San Manual Gaming and Hospitality Authority, part of the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians, begin operating the Palms Casino Resort in the gambling mecca.

The Nevada Gaming Commission has licensed the tribe to operate in the city and the location will open with new staff now being recruited. Former Palms employees will be welcomed back by the new operator of what was a Red Rock Resorts location.

Around 1,000 staff will be taken on for the venue that has over 700 hotel rooms and suites and multiple F&B options, plus convention space and a 2,500-seat theatre.

The tribe owns and operates the Yaamava Resort and Casino at San Manuel in Highland, California.
