The final approval for the launch of sports betting in the US state of Kansas came this week from the attorney general Derek Schmidt.
Schmidt had initially rejected some of the regulations set by Kansan Lottery for sports betting in the state, but they have now been approved after revision and sports betting may commence in Kansas from September 1.
