John Ferrucci has been named as the senior vice-president and COO of Full House Resorts, the US operator that is building a temporary tented casino close to Chicago, US.


Ferrucci will oversee the opening of The Temporary at American Place, the new project at Waukegan, Illinois, serving as general manager of the Silver Slipper Casino in Hancock County, Mississippi. as well.

Ferrucci is a former Harrah’s Atlantic City dealer who worked his way up to manage the Lucayan Beach in the Bahamas, before moving to Mississippi, where he opened the Grand Casino in Gulfport and the Grand Casino in Biloxi.

He then moved to the New Palace Casino in Biloxi. He was general manager of the Casio Magic Biloxi and then joined the team developing the Silver Slipper.

Full House has bought 10 acres of land adjoining the 30-acre casino site to be leased from Waukegan city and bought a huge tent structure the size of 1.5 football fields which will house a temporary venue while the construction of the casino takes place.

The Temporary, as it is known, will house 1,000 slots, 50 tables, restaurants and bar. The Temporary will go up in April and open shortly afterwards.
